Title: Network path not found
Post by: beansb on June 28, 2014, 08:14:06 AM
Hi,

I have recently added a Windows 7 Pro computer to my network and although I can see the linkstation under networks in the windows explorer when I click on the linkstation name I get an error:

Windows cannot access \\LinkstationName Error code 0x80070035 The network path was not found.

I have a Windows 7 Home Premium PC that can access my Linkstation LS-WVLE81 without any problems.
I can log into the linkstation by typing the linkstation static IP address in my internet browser without any problems on all machines.

Currently the Windows 7 Pro has only 1 user called "Administrator" without a password.
I have tried setting up and logging in as different user with a password and adding the same user and password as a user in the linkstation but this does not help.

When I type in \\LinkstationName\shareName into windows explorer, I get the same error message.

My Linkstation firmware says that it is up to date.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thanks.
