Title: restore functionality of ls-wxl
Post by: lilloxy on June 18, 2014, 03:50:30 PM
Hello,
After power shortage, my ls-wxl lost both disks.
I'm looking for a way to restore its functionality; I fear that simply replace disks would not be enough.
I bet I saw a boot partition in one of the two disks that have been lost with the two disks.
Firmware upgrade wizard seems to look for a network device, but not having any boot, the nas can not boot therefore the wizard can not detect it.

any suggestion is appreciated.

Any error codes on the linkstation with the 2 original disks? What's the power led doing?

Hello,
Thanks for reply.
It starts with the power blue led blinking, 2 on and 2 off per second.
After a while, about 2 minutes, maybe more, the info led begins to light orange, red + green I guess.
the blink is 1 second on, 1 second off, half a second on, half a second off; the power led stops blinking and light a blue led steady.
is there anything be done to recover the hardware replacing disks?

regards
AC

Any chance you can post a 10 second video if the info/error led?
