Title: ls-ch1.5tl Power Issue
Post by: asocii on May 30, 2014, 02:45:13 AM
I purchased this unit 3 years ago and now I am just using it for the first time. I know you probably wonder I waited 3 years to use it, what a waste of money etc... The short answer is I just never put the time into it.

Anyhow, when I powered it on I was receiving 6 flashing red lights and I tried one of the suggestions in the forum to power it off, unplug the power adapter, hold down the function and plug the power adapter back in. I did and I waited approximately 30 seconds and the light on the unit went out.

I unplugged the power adapter and plugged it back in and it still would not power. As if the power supply went out. I checked the power adapter and I noticed there was a faint flashing green light as if there is a short. I unplugged the power adapter from the unit and a solid green light appeared. I tried plugging it back in and again the same thing happened with the faint flashing green light.

So I thought "great the power adapter probably just died". So I ordered a new power adapter off amazon and I plugged the new adapter to the unit and again the same thing with a faint flashing green light.

Has anyone seen this or have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance...
