Title: LS-WXL stuck booting
Post by: Francopacks on May 28, 2014, 10:14:11 AM
I am currently using a Linkstation Duo LS-WXL with 2 - 3TB Seagate drives in a mirrored raid array running firmware 1.63.

I lost power while doing a Disk Check on Raid Array 1 (mirrored).  I was able to boot the Linkstation after getting power back and am able to see the device in NAS Navigator as well as log into the web interface, however file sharing is disabled.  If I try to browse the Linkstation, my Share folders show up, but I am unable to open the shares.

I tried rebooting the Linkstation from the Web interface, and it gets stuck in the booting phase (blinking blue light) forever.  While the blinking blue light is going, I am able to ping the IP address, so the device is definitely powered on and getting a network packets.  I am unable to see the device in NAS Navigator and the web interface just does the loading spinning circle indefinitely.

After 3 hours of trying to let it boot,  I pulled the power.  After plugging the power back in and booting the device ( this time only taking a couple of minutes to boot), I can once again get into the web interface and see the device in NAS Navigator, however sharing is once again disabled.

I tried rebooting the device via the web interface again, and now am stuck in the blinking blue light booting phase.

Any ides how I can get my file sharing back?
