Title: The Virtual Disk service stops and starts repeatedly
Post by: Tony414 on April 28, 2014, 01:04:42 PM
Hello,
I have a WS5600 that I purchased with Storage Server 2012 on it. I am getting repeated events of 3,4 and 7036 every minute stating "The Virtual Disk service stops and starts" I called Microsoft and they said I needed to contact the vendor I purchased it from. So I contacted Buffalo and they said that I needed to contact Microsoft. I have to side with Microsoft on this one as I purchased this unit with the OS installed on it. Either way has anyone run into this? I tried a few things like updating the firmware of the unit. I don't have any roles installed other than file sharing. I have VSS disabled. I am at a loss.

Thank you,
Tony
