Title: What is the internal drive in the HD-CEIU2?
Post by: sfsdcris on April 25, 2009, 05:09:36 PM

I'm considering purchasing the HD-CEIU2.

But before I purchase, what is the internal drive in the HD-CEIU2?

Thanks

We purchase drives in lots from several manufacturers to include with our devices, so there's no real way of telling the brand before purchase.

Thanks for your reply.

That is what I was afraid of, being that, I got a similar answer from Iomega when Dell was selling their 1.5TB external drives inexpensively. Turned out the 1.5TB drive I got was a Seagate, which was the model series that had a lot of problems (see below), so I've since returned the drive to Dell. Dell paid for the shipping return.  Now Iomega has a return of an open box item.   Costs everyone a lot of time and money.
