Title: Linkstation HD-H250LAN Firmware Upgrade Fails
Post by: techneighbor on April 18, 2014, 08:28:22 AM
Hi,

I have an old Linkstation HD-H250LAN NAS.  I attempted to upgrade the firmware and that failed and now the drive is in Emergency Mode.

My firmware uses HD-HLAN FW Update application not ts or ls updater so there is no .ini file
Trying to upgrade to 1.47
Upgrade fails during the Saving Settings step.  The lights are flashing on the NAS and then about 40% of the progress bar the Disk Full light flashes several times on the unit and then I get the message upgrade failed.
NAS Navigator sees the drive but shows it is in Emergency Mode
I have tried updating through a switch, both devices are connected to the same switch and with a direct connection.  Same results.
No diag lights or disk full lights on unit
Using Windows 7

Thanks.
