Title: parallel access to iscsi targets
Post by: tm on April 23, 2009, 05:01:34 PM

hi

i use the TS-RIGL/R5 F/W 1.01 with iSCSI.

My Question:

Is it possible to access one iscsi-drive from different clients without any problems?

I tried this and had problems on client1 with refreshing files and folder-contents which were created by client2.

thank you

tm

The way it is- just one client connected at one time works correctly. When I tried I could connect a second client but as you experienced it does not work because you don't see the changes made by the other user.

Of course if you disconnect the first user and connect the second one afterwards - that works too.

For simultanious access to LAN storage you need a NAS.
