Hello Everyone!
One of My client has Terrastation II NAS (Rack mounted) TSRH20TGLR5
Firmware 1.36 latest from website
Static IP
Network:
5 Mac's and 4 Windows platform
No Server, no active directory.
Shared folders setup with user access login and password (smb, afp, ftp) and usually accessible from MAc's and windows machines.
A couple days ago NAS stopped access via smb protocol from Mac's. From Windows All fine.
All Mac's has error cannot connect to the server check IP and try again but only via smb. afp is no problem.
On all mac's, windows and NAS has same workgroup.
I've disabled smb on NAS but It's not a solution, I need access those folders from windows and mac's.
Any comments or suggestions will be very appreciated

Dmytry
Hello,
probably I was not clear with explanation:)
I've just uncheck box "smb" on the shared folders...:)
Yes its disabled windows access:( But I still dont have the solution how to resolve this issue.
Any chance to access to NAS via ssh? I've tried but connection refused.
Can I get access to NAS via ssh to file /etc/smb.conf?
Does TeraStation support encrypt smb?

Dmytry
