Title: Dropped hard drive - any way of recovering data?
Post by: gringo_loco on October 22, 2008, 08:42:58 AM

My external hard drive fell off of a coffee table last night, while it was running.  Now, when I plug it in, it boots up and the disc starts spinning, but then it makes a clicking noise and doesn't load on my computer.  An orange light appears below the green light.  Do I have any chance of recovering data?

Thanks,

Ryan

I've used quite a few recovery companies over the years. When it comes to RAID data recovery I always use RAID Recovery Labs. They only perform RAID data recoveries. Fast turnaround with very reasonable pricing. Great group of engineers to work with!
