Title: LS410D - Firmware? - Nightmare.
Post by: Arpo on April 04, 2014, 11:47:04 AM
I have a LS410D, less than 4 months old.

The firmware was updated to the latest version, as it didn't work out of the box, then it worked.

A new, blank hard disk has now been installed.  On power up it gives seven flashed which I believe is corrupted firmware.

I have tried every conceivable connection, to PC, router, different ethernet cables etc but am unable to get any communication with the unit.

This is the case withe NAs navigator, firmware updater etc.

This is very disappointing as it's not like I've smashed it up against a wall or anything, just used it.

Surely there must be a way to get through to the device?

Please can someone help me?
