I find it very strange but I had 7 or 8 folders under my share which are now all gone and a hidden folder called .webaxs has taken their spot, under .webaxs there is a folder called spool and that's it, there's nothing under that.

The NAS Navigator and the windows share however, accounts for the used space (which is being taken up by all the movies, etc. that are supposed to be on that drive) but I just can't see that content anywhere.

Contacted Buffalo support and they created another folder and started a backup job which is making a second copy of all of that content on this new folder, now I can see all the folders that are supposed to show up in my primary share but aren't, they only show up in the backed up folders.  There is around 700 GB of data to be copied so I guess it'll take a while before it completes.

Anyone know of a better way to make this data show up?  I have already verified and the Hidden Folder option is greyed out for me so that doesn't seem like the case.

wow... 253 reads and no replies, guess I'm the only one out there having this issue.  Buffalo, would you please be kind enough to do an RMA for my unit?!

So If you got all your data back and is now in the backup folder, why dont you re-organize it so and delete the other folder you no longer have access to. Folder could of got corrupted. Rarely happens but it can happen. If you want to RMA the unit you need to contact Customer support for your region.
