Hi,
I have a courious issue. I have had LS-XHL in auto mode. However this morning the the Status LED just keep blinking blue for at least 6 hours (well i kept it that long on purpose - just in case if disk check might be really really slow... :( ). Even when switch off (button) the STatus LED will keep blinking.
Any idea what might be wrong? I have not done any updates. Out of the box. It worked fine after for two weeks or so.
Additional info: I have seen in my router that ip is given (thur dhcp), however when using LSUpdater.exe (with debug on and versioncheck = 0), the LSUpdate.exe won't find it. But in dhcp table i can see it. Basically it will say thaT ls-xhl that needs update is not found.
So question is:
- how to force updater to find router - when ip is given thru dhcp
Simptoms are similar as somebody mentioned before. the web gui won't come up.
Additional info. I have tried to LSUpdates, but the updater won't find my ls-xhl even when i can see that ip has been give on my ruter. I am usinig a windows without firewall for updates.
Can the NAS Navigator find the unit?
Plug the unit directly into your computer and try again!
What Windows are you using? Make sure Windows firewall as well as ANY other software firewall is completely turned off (make sure specifically the firewall in any anti-virus software is disabled).
Try booting your comp into Safemode With Networking and see if it finds the unit.
Hi,
Nas Navi can not find unit. that's the whole point.
I have tried freshly installed win. NO change. Won't find it.
I am using windows xp pro sp 3 (i have tried different kind of windows).
Safe mode might be good idea. i will try.
