Title: MiniStation not recognised in new Windows 7 Instalation
Post by: 747skipper on March 04, 2014, 05:11:14 PM
I have a ministration (HD-PNTU3) which was working ok but my computer got a virus and I have wiped out everything on it and reinstalled Win 7 Ultimate.
When I attach my Buffalo I get a green light and (after restarting windows without the insistence on signed drivers) I have got the USB storage drivers installed and no yellow triangles in device manager.

I downloaded HD-PNTU3_CD210.zip and installed it but I cannot see the drive in Windows explorer or the disk manager snap in in administrative tools.

SecureLockManagerEasy says "No drive requiring authentication is available."

What should I do to recover my backups on this drive please?
I am using encryption and have the password, if I can only get to being asked for it!
