Title: Upgrade from LS-CHL-v2 (1TB) to LS-XL (2TB)
Post by: JaniN83 on March 04, 2014, 03:27:01 AM
Hi.

I'm thinking of upgrading my old LS-CHL-v2 to the LS-XL NAS drive.

Before doing so, I'd like to know few things:

1. Since XL seems to use the same firmware as the CHL, is the Twonky version also the same?
2. Are the webinterface/features the same (sharing, user management etc.)?
3. In short, is there any differences between these two except the HD size?

Thank you already :).

1. yes
2. yes
3. different cpu (slighty better CPU), different case, same RAM. no reset button, on/off/auto switch and no USB ports.

If it were upto me, stick with the LS-CHL or look at the LS410.

Thank you for the answers. Does this also mean that XL does not have webserver option?
