Title: BitTorrent bug for 1.50 firmware
Post by: locolyric on February 22, 2014, 04:24:01 AM
HI All,

I have trouble with ts5400 before and now the issue is settle.
The other part confuse me were file explorer.Previously D-link NAS provide a web base file explorer for me to transfer, cut, delete like usual explorer do.

But i can't find any similar feature in TS5400. Do ts5400 product do have a file explorer to connect with NAS, so we can manage the file inside easily ?

Because if using the nas navigator to map the drive. All copy and paste within the NAS only have low transfer speed(i feel like the file were transfer thru my pc to the other folder on same NAS)

Is there anyway i can manage all files inside quickly?

If you do have a TS5400, make sure to upgrade to the v2.50 firmware!

If not, whats the model on the actual label on your unit?

1: Buffalo units normally have a GUI language selection as well as a Client language selection, if you dont have the Client set to the same language it wont display the same (going by what you said about the WebUI showing correctly)

2: This was a problem I know on LinkStation Units, but I would be interested if you updated to v2.50 to see if the issue still exists, if it does, maybe you might try doing a Debug flash using the Delete user config (which is mistranslated to delete user data) and force options (DO NOT USE REPARTITION!)

3: Dont really know how to help you with this, maybe its part of issue #2, or maybe your network isnt keeping the Port open. Which is a common router issue unless you use an IP RESERVATION -not static- and Manual port forwarding rule.

Are you referring to the Font in the torrent applet? or webaccess or user side for folders? need to have more details to what you are referring to.
