Post by: Preston1983 on February 14, 2014, 05:49:13 AM
Hi

any help on this would be great tried mailing support not had any luck (response) so far

so I have a single drive nas I believe its the "BUFFALO LinkStation Live 2 TB Network Attached Storage (NAS) - LS-X2.0TL"

everything works ok with it apart from when I try and transfer large amounts of data via FTP with Filezilla

it would transfer around 20-30 gig before the unit appears to go to sleep..

if I do it via windows transfer its fine but a lot slower (3meg a second compared to 2x6-7 meg a second)

when it goes to sleep the blue light is on solid I can ping the unit fine but when I try and log in via filezilla or to its home page it gets stuck on waiting

message from filezilla when trying to log back in are below

Status:   Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Status:
Connection established, waiting for welcome message...

I also noticed the below message when it goes to sleep

Response:   150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for VTS_05_2.VOB
Response:   421 No transfer timeout (900 seconds): closing control connection
Error:   Connection closed by server
