Title: LS-WX2 drive error but drive looks good
Post by: outbackrob on February 13, 2014, 10:19:21 AM
LS-WX2 running 1.65 with two identical WD 1TB Caviar in RAID 1.   Got the I12 flash. GUI shows Disk 2 Error.   Replaced the drive.  Still shows Disk 2 Error.   Swapped original drives 1>slot 2, 2>slot 1.    Error still in disk/slot 2.  No matter which drive I put in there, it always shows as a Disk 2 error and the red light under the drive stays illuminated.

Ran a disk check of the array with both original drives and got no error.

I can run with either one of the original drives in either slot and my data appears to be intact either way.  Not sure what the error could be then other than a bad Linkstation?

Are there any diags that could shed light on what the error that is always in slot/disk 2 means?
