Title: LS420D0x02 - NFS support?!
Post by: JockeSve on February 04, 2014, 12:47:45 AM
To Buffalo support team

Please add NFS support in FW for all LS420D0x02 models!
That shouldn't be that hard to achieve but would help us having mixed environment a lot.

If not possible can someone please tell me if there is a workaround to get NFS support for LS420D0x02.
(I have one LS420D0402 and one LS420D0602)

Thanks in advance!!

NFS is largely used in business, the Linkstation is mainly a home user device. So i doubt it will be added.
NFS is available on the Terastations (business units)

Linkstation is mainly a home user device but so are several comparable products from D-Link, Netgear and many others within approx same price range and those (almost all competitors) do have NFS support out of the box.
So that argument is not really a valid argument, it's more of an excuse...

Not an excuse but it is the facts. Whatever way you interpret it is upto yourself.
