Title: Frequent auto-reboot (no reason?) of LS-QV12TL/R5
Post by: ldl01031 on January 27, 2014, 11:02:24 PM
I've sent 4 or 5 messages to tech support for help over the past month.  I haven't received a response to one.

Anyway - my brand new LS-QV12TL/R5 NAS unit keeps rebooting itself.  I don't have it set to restart on errors.  I see no issues with reading/writing - just the rebooting issue (which interrupts any backups in progress of course).  I've tried reformatting, checking the drives, etc.

Anyone know how I can trouble shoot this issue?  A log file somewhere - or ?  I've tried setting up email alerts but haven't found the right settings yet.

Thanks.

Is the switch on the back set to manual or auto? If it's set to auto then change it to manual.

Gad, that is something I had overlooked!  I had it set correctly on my older model (which recently gave up the ghost).  Fingers crossed that was the issue!  Thanks for the reply.
