Title: Error on Linkstation Pro Quad LS-QVL/R5 (Red flashing 7 times)
Post by: macdawn on January 11, 2014, 08:11:39 AM
My Linkstation has been showing the E08 error, and I am thinking of purchasing an identical new Pro Quad and slotting the harddrives in.

Will it recognise the array, or will I need to reformat everything? I had backed up some of the data, but the unit died before I could finish it.

Sorry, I must have gotten it wrong, I got the flashing red light for 7 times. Which indicate problem with the motherboard. Also, in addition, when I tried turning it on, only 3 of the harddisk indicator lights flashed. Then when I turned it off and on again, this time only the one harddisk light is on.
