Title: Cannot Access Link Station Mini 1TB
Post by: mmprojects on April 14, 2009, 04:15:24 AM

I have a Linkstation Mini 1TB Raid 1 which was working fine for a few days and then when copying some files to it I got an error message along the lines of  it couldnt create a directory as the structure was too deep.

Since then I havent been able to access it at all though the browser admin or NasNavi.

Also it also doesnt appear on the network at all.

The port its connected to my router through is a solid green light so thats seems OK

Have also tried using a crossover cable but that didnt work.

Have tired accessing through Windows XP and Mac OSX 10.5.

Have you tried resetting the device?  If not try booting it into EM mode by holding down the function button as you power on the device.  Then see if the NASNAVI finds it.

I keep my finger in the function button and the blue LED just flashes constantly? Is this correct?

When I hit the function button again the green lights starts to flash as well.

Either way I still cant access it!

How do I reset completely?
