I have LS-W2.0TGL/R1-V3 (LS-WTGL23E), FW 3.09. Originally installed all the software on home PC running Vista Home Premium (x32, all the latest updates) where I was able to login using NAS Navigator 2. Also, had no problems mapping to the drive on my other 2 laptops running XP. Now, I forgot the new login and had to reset password to default. After doing that, I had no issue re-mapping drives on XP with a default admin/password login. Also, there are no issues login into setup from Web GUI on both XP and Vista machines. The problem is that I can not map back LinkStation on my Vista machine. It finds the drive in NAS Navigator 2; when I double click on it opens up the window where I see info/lp/share/printers folders. I can click on Info folder where it has Japanese manuals, but can't get into Share folder. It keep asking me for login where I type default admin/password and it comes back with login incorrect. Nothing has changed on that Vista PC, everything was working OK until I reset the password. I have no issues login through Web GUI, just can't map the drive or get into Share directory through NAS Nav2. And again, there are no issues mapping to the drive from my XP laptops.

Anyway idea how to fix this?

do you have access restrictions set?

uh, just looked up in WebGUI and I do have it enabled, Read/Write "admin" only. I believe its a default setting. Anything I need to change?

LOL, doing my own troubleshooting. Just disabled Access Restriction and no problem login in! So, does it mean when I'm mapped from another computer where I'm logged in as admin - only one "admin" user can access drive at a time? I used to access this drive from PC only, than switched to using my laptop. So, should I create another account for drive mapping from other computers and keep only original PC as "admin" login?

You don't need to use different accounts, but I wouldn't use the admin account. You can create a new user in User Management if you want to restrict access to the shares.
