Title: Windows Expl accesses Linkstation files, but NASNavigator doesn't find LS
Post by: WMark on December 01, 2013, 07:52:27 PM
A few months ago, I upgraded the firmware on my Linkstation LS-WVLE8 (actually, I hired someone to do it for me, fearing I would brick it).  Since then, I have not been able to access it with NAS Navigator.  Strangely, I have no problem browsing to the shared files via Windows Explorer and doing everything I need within Windows.  I'm now trying to configure Web Access for an Android device, and NAS Navigator seems to be holding things up....

I upgraded to the latest version of NAS Navigator 2, but still no success.  Any advice?

your anto virus and/or firewall software is probably blocking the nas navigator.

I'm on a corporate laptop that won't allow me to disable the firewall.  I'll try it on another machine and see if that works,

Thanks,
