Title: USB drive not writeable
Post by: lisafeg on April 12, 2009, 07:09:29 PM

My myBook USB drive can no longer be written to - i can see files.  It was fine, but now it won't let me copy anything else onto it. I've checked the web admin and all seems fine. Note ... I did write to it before and I'm pretty sure I formatted it via the admin.  The only thing that I can think of that's changed is I got a new computer - so I would have reinstalled the NAS navigator etc.

any ideas?

If the drive is in NTFS and you're having problems you would have to connect it to the NAS and format it via the web admin. The NAS has the ability to READ NTFS but not write to it.
