Title: Buffalo DriveStation DDR 3TB Partition??
Post by: skipp on November 04, 2013, 03:32:33 PM
Hi.....

I am running Win7 Home Premium 64 bit, NTFS file system.  I just hooked up my new external USB 3.0 Buffalo DriveStation DDR 3TB.  How is it that the drive is 1 one partition of 3TB???  I thought 2TB was the max Win64/NTFS can support/see??
I don't mind it being 1 partition as long as it does not disrupt anything hardware or software wise otherwise I will partition it.  I tried the AMOEI Partition Assistant to look at the drive and it doesn't even show up.....maybe cuz its > 2TB.

Help buffalo tech?  I filled out the online form asking this last week and got no reply.
