I recently purchased a 12GB TeraStation 5400 WSS (Model WS5400D1204, running Windows Storage Server 2012 for Workgroup). The marketing page mentions that it is bundled with NovaBackup. The download tab in the product page offers "NovaStor Business Essentials 14.0.18 for WS5000 Series" for download with serial number.

When I click the link, select my model, and enter the serial number of my device, (a 14 digit number printed on the back of the device as well as recovery image) it does not accept the serial number. I am positively sure that I am correctly entering all 14 digits of the serial number.

I could not find anything in the documentation and web site that is about how to download or where to get the bundled software. The bundled software also is not already installed on the device.

Am I doing something wrong? How can I get NovaBackup software and its bundled license? Please help.

I would call techsupport. When i have issues on there downloads i let them know so they can either fix there issue or tell me why my serial number isnt working. one of the 2. i remember that i couldn't download the cd one time on my terastations and it turns on that no one could so they had to fix the site.
