Title: How to mount a USB disk to LS-WX4.0TL/R1 for backup
Post by: hanz64 on October 07, 2013, 01:15:02 PM
Could anyone possibly give me some hints on how to mount a USB disk to a LS-WX4.0TL/R1 LinkStation for a system backup?

Per recommendation in the users guide I have formatted the drive in the ext3 file system.

However, I get the following message in the logfile for the backup:

-------- BEGIN BACKUP 2013/09/29 10:12:35 array1/company/Corporate -> LS-WXL250@usbdisk1 --------
usbdisk1: drive not mounted.
-------- END BACKUP 2013/09/29 10:12:35 array1/company/Corporate -> LS-WXL250@usbdisk1 --------

The USB drive is a WD My Passport Ultra drive with a USB 3.0 interface.
