Good Morning All,
I have a problem with my LS-WX2 (Link-station Duo 1-T)
I have had issues with this unit for a while. In June, I replaced on HD with a similar but not exact 1T SATA drive.
I let it run for 120 days w/o any activity. It seems like it was fine. Daily notifications and weekly RAID checks.

So I decided to put it into production. I could not access the drives so I followed the instructions to shut down and reboot.
The unit goes into the Emergency Mode and instructs me to update the firmware - Originally it had v1.62 - latest version is 1.65.
I attempted to update the firmware. The unit would not reboot.
So, I removed the old drive and only left the newest drive on the unit.




The blue light comes on, but the navigator still indicates EM.
I am able to transfer the update, write the update, check-sum calculated, transferring, writing firmware, but when the updater tries to reboot
LinkStation booting
The updater says - waiting for Link-station -  rebooting. Then, the error message - waiting for 12000 seconds

I have disabled all firewalls -
manually rebooted and tried several times -
I don't know what else to try -
Any suggestions would be most helpful

Additional Info after original post.
I connected the LS to a computer directly.
Attempted to force the update.
Received the following errors- w/ both drives intact, I get an error stating there are too man bad sectors on drive one.
if I remove drive 1 and attempt, I receive a message that the partition cannot be found. Same if I put drive 2 into slot 1.
I have no problem wiping the drives clean and recreating the system again.

Tried to do a TFTP - no success

I have a similar problem, I contacted to buffalo tech support and the answer from them is that I need to do tftp procedure but they could not gave me the instructions for that kind of procedure once IT IS NOT SUPPORTED BY BUFFALO AMERICAS, so my only option is to find someone from mars who know and can gide me on how to do it.
