Title: Linksystem Quad replacement storage - looking for alternatives to the OP-HD1.0T
Post by: tlh523 on April 10, 2009, 02:00:59 PM
I am considering upgrading my 4 250 GB drives to 4 1TB drives in my Linksystem Quad.  However, he OP-HD1.0T disks are more expensive that other 1 TB Sata disks that are on the market.  Does anyone have any recommendation on using non-Buffalo replacement drives for an upgrade?

I'm sorry but per our forum guideline:

(9) suggest or show how to make alterations or changes to firmware orhardware of Buffalo Technology products, use of DD-WRT, Tomato, ornon-Buffalo-approved firmware (violates and terminates USA warranty ofwireless products.), or provide links to non-Buffalo-approved firmwareor hardware how-to articles.

I'm afraid that we can't suggest anything of that sort. My apologies :(
