Title: Help With My LS-CH500L
Post by: Brillyx on July 31, 2013, 07:54:40 PM
This device just does not want to work for me. I plug it into my modem and my computer recognizes it, but it fails to connect to the network. I try navigating it through NAS Navigator and it is unresponsive to my clicking, I try to browse shares and it does nothing. I tried remote mapping the network drive and the error message I receive is that it "failed mapping, remote default share is missing". I can't even open the Web Admin, I have never changed my password or username on the account, I use the default username "admin" and default password "password" and it still says incorrect username or password. This is ridiculous, Buffalo is now one of my most hated technology companies. I tried calling tech support and the number has been changed or disconnected. Can anyone please help me with this? Otherwise I'm just sticking a fork in it and buying a new one.

First things first, do you have data on that thing you are worried about?

Was it in EM mode at any stage? What firmware is installed?
