Title: Accidentally started formatting my drivestation quattro

   i accidentally started formatting my drivestation quattro while trying to load DSL to my flash drive once i realized what it was installing it too i kicked off my external and now all my data is gone and it says i need to format before use is there any way i can get my data back or even copy some of it before i reconstruct my raid 5

   Unfortunately if the drive has been formatted already there is no way to recover the data. It has been completely erased. However there are some data recovery specialists that MAY be able to get some of the files off the formatted drive. It is very unlikely, and usually quite costly though.

Agreed, you could try using a program such as Recover My Files if you haven't written any new data to the drive.
