Hello All,
I recently bought Link Station Mini 1 TB and as I am copying data, playing movies or listening to music at the same time its becoming very slow and the movie plays frame by frame, The copy takes more time than usual.
Has anybody faced this problem. Is there any setting to makes this faster.
Before buying Link Station Mini I used to have Linkstation Pro and that was very good I never faced such problems.
Please somebody help me in making this process faster.

I'm assuming you're running firmware 1.06? Is the drive mapped by IP address or hostname? What OS/hardware are you using to play the media?
I installed the firmware which came up with the drive. The drive is mapped to an IP. I am having windows XP Professional SP3 and i use VLC media player to watch the media.
How do i check for the firmware, where it will show me what firmware version its using?
I just checked i have firmware 1.03, from where i can download firmware 1.06?
Please someone let me know.
