Title: Cannot access sharefolder after upgrading the firmware on TeraStatio Pro
Post by: jchen on October 17, 2008, 01:42:24 PM

Hi,

At the begin, our storage failed to join the AD. I upgraded the firmware from 1.22 to 1.27 according to the suggestion from technical support. However, I could not access the shared folders even though I have read/write privilege or disable the access restrictions.

How can fix this issue? What's wrong with the system?

Thanks,

Jason

I called Buffalo, they asked me to use ip address instead of DNS name to access share folders. It worked. However, it returns 'access denied' when I used DNS name.

I checked my DNS setting, there is no problem. The DNS name is resovled to the correct IP address when I pinged it.

I don't if there is any one having the same issue when upgrade the firmware.

Thanks,

Jason
