Title: aoss or wep encryption on mixed network
Post by: gtargonski on August 17, 2009, 10:34:57 AM

Sir;

I have 2 pc computers, and a brother wireless printer all are using aoss and were very easy to configure. I just purchased a mac mini,    can I configure the mac with wep encryption and continue to use aoss for the pc's and printer?

I have an Whr-G54s ver 1.2 using dsl internet connection.

Second question. Is there a aoss driver available for mac computers?

Thanks

   There are no AOSS drivers or anything like that for a Mac. If you are using WEP for the mac, all the computers have to be using it. You can only use one method of security at a time. AOSS knocks out all other forms of encryption. If you do need to turn off AOSS you can do so throught he web interface under "Wireless Config->AOSS"
