Title: Auto Does Not Work on LS-XHL
Post by: schneb on April 02, 2009, 01:32:53 PM

I have the LinkStation Pro LS-XHL. It is connected to a Verizon FiOS router and I use Macs on Leopard to access them. All is well except the drives will not sleep and seem to be continually spinning.

Is there a firmware release that fixes this? If so, what is the link?

At this current time we only have firmware that works with windows.  If you are able to update the firmware with a pc this should help your sleep mode issues.

Thanks Kameron, the wonderful thing about Macs is that you can Boot Camp it. I will try the update in Windows XP.

It sleeps now, but does not wake. I will create a new thread.
