Title: Linkstation mini position
Post by: Banjo on April 02, 2009, 05:30:43 AM

In your opinion, is it better to put the mini horizontally or vertically for better cooling?

Thanks!

Well, my Linkstation mini works 24h/24, seven days a week.

A hot summer is coming...

I am thinking to "lift" my Linkstation, to permit a better air access to the lower cooling grid.

Maybe it will better to put the Linkstation horizontally, and to put a little fan near the grid...

What do you think about?

Better airflow would most likely lead to better performance since heat is the enemy ;)
