Title: DST Change for L320GL
Post by: hmlinder on April 01, 2009, 05:20:45 PM

I need to adjust the DST settings on my device. The file timestamps are an hour in the future.

LS-L320GL Firmware 2.01

NAS Navigator 2.15

OS: Vista

ERROR:

"Unable to set date for the following file - \\LS-LGLAF4\..."

Log into the web interface> Basic> Set GMT to be correct> Apply> Click Use Local Time> Apply.

*Note- Eastern Daylight Time is GMT -4 (minus four).

I'm not sure what interface you are referring to. Is there a page in a manual you can refer too?

I can log into the web admin interface, but there is no options to change.

http://device/cgi-bin/top.cgi

I can login to the version 2.2 interface

http://device:9000/login/

but there is no options to change.

Is this the LS320 or the LS-L320?

The LSL I do not believe gives you the option to change that as it should pull the date and time from your computer automatically. You may be able to open the NAS NAVIgator and there should be an option to Adjust Date and Time.

Have you looked at the interface?

There's an 'Adjust Time' button, which I think I clicked correctly a few times prior to posting.

Any other recourse? I would think that changing/setting the time shouldn't require too much effort.

The LS EZ does not have an internal time setting. Unfortunately, even though this be the case the NAS Navi is a universal application for use with our NAS devices (some can have their time and IP changed where others cannot). Since this device cannot have it's time changed you cannot go into the NAS Navi utility nor the user interface to change it. Sorry for the confusion :)
