   Is there any way of running uPnP on a LinkStation LS-250?

What are you trying to use it for, mapping drives, port forwarding?

   I have been using it to feed music to an internet radio. I have a new one which can only see uPnP servers and can't see the LinkStation.

No, sorry it does not support that.
