I hope you can understand me, my english is not that good :-)

 

I'm trying to make a new share on my linkstation live. But when i go into the control panel an select shared folders, i get this error:

 

Software error:

Can anyone help me?

 

Mu firmware is 2.10

You have to log into the Linkstation live by the IP address, then add the share folder to the root directory.  Then you can access it from the PC.  PC's can only create sub directories.

That is what i have done. And then i get the error :-(

I would set the unit back to factory defaults, (this will not cause any data loss)

   

I have tried that too. And I get the same error.

 

It seems that every time i wont to change something it comes with the error :-(

   

I I tried to make a forced update of the software. It went ok, ut it didn't solved the problem.

 

When i try to make a Initialization to restore defaults i get this error:

Boot into EM mode (hold down the init button as its powering up)

login to the device

set the unit back to factory defaults

You can try to force the firmware one more time or even try a different version, if that does not work then I would contact support for an RMA

I tried a diff. version and that dit it.
