Title: Web Access
Post by: carchey on September 27, 2008, 03:46:32 PM
I'm having a little trouble setting up the Web access to our teraserver. When I setup the share with protection, I get a pop-up for username and password. What username and passowrd is it asking for? I've tried the admin username and password, I've tried other combinations of username and the password defined in the BuffaloNAS setup.

I'm new to this also -- just got a LinkStation 1T ProDuo

It appears the admin account can not be used for web access

I had to setup an user account, then I was successful

Never found a place where I needed the BuffaloNAS password (but that may be becuase I have not truly done a remote access)

Thanks. I was able to gain access once I created non-admin users with passwords.
