I am having the same problem. Two time two weeks ago. Twice yesterday. It just shuts down and beeps at about a 1 Hz rate with no lights flashing. I moved it to a UPS battery backup thinking maybe it was power related but problem is still there. My unit also drops offline several times a day but comes back online within a few seconds. I tried to reinstall the firmware but the installer will not allow me because it is the same version and I cannot find a way to force the installation.

Full instructions for a force firmware flash are stickeyed on the top of the page or here Force firmware.

But an easier work around for just getting past the version is opening the lsupdater.ini file in the firmware download folder and where you see "[flags] version check = 1" change that one to a "0".

Also when the light turns off and it beeps does it do that continuously until you power off the unit? On some units that signifies a MPU (processor error). And that ends up being the case you would probably have to call in tech support to see if theres any other fixes or if you might need an rma (warranty replacement).

Cheers
