Post by: stamperr on September 19, 2008, 10:35:20 PM

Is it possable to put a larger hard drive (1TB) into my LinkStation Pro.  If so, do I have to put software on the hard drive before I switch them out.  The Link Station is out of warrenty.

Should be able to, but Buffalo will not be the place to find the answer.  It both voids the warranty and is not user level 'maintenance'  I would search the 'web' for homebrew replacement options.  Also, if you have USB ports on the back, you can add additional USB drives.
