Title: not able to browse linkstation
Post by: garonson on March 26, 2009, 06:51:09 PM
i have linkstation live model # hsdh500gl and am not able to get into the interface on the internet. i've done this in the past with no problem. nothing's changed in my set up either on the device or my internet connection. i'm going out over a cable modem through a linksys router. i haven't enabled any firewall protection and i haven't changed my linkstation's name or ip address since the last time i accessed it. also i can't get to it using buffalonas. the error message is failed to connect, can't establish a connection at 10.10.10.105. any ideas?

the unit might be in EM mode, verify this by looking in the nas navigator, if there is no firmware listed then just reinstall the firmware.

The NAS Navigator should be able to display information regarding the IP address and Firmware being used you can download the utility here. Should the firmware not be displayed you will have to download the firmware for your device and re-flash it.
