Title: LS-CHL 1.0TL in EM Mode
Post by: mlokhandwala on March 20, 2009, 10:31:27 PM

What is EM Mode? This is what NAS Navigator reports for the drive. I have carried the drive to India and I really need to fix this. I am loosing confidence in Buffalo now, since 1. I cant get the drive to work. 2. I could not successfully reset the drive 3. I can't download firmware because servers dont support resume.

I dont know if I am the only one in such pain, but it certainly is not good for a brand.

I finally managed to download the firmware 1.07, updated the CH1.0TL. After writing all the firmware, it showed an error that the device being updated is not found. However NAS Navigator now shows that the drive is out of the EM Mode that it had entered into. I can use the 'password' password to set the IP from NAS navigator, but the same password does not work from Web admin... This is frustrating me beyond my wildest imagination and honestly Ive never had a worse experience with an electronic device in my life.
