Title: Pro Duo Jumbo Frames problem
Post by: a4refillpad on March 20, 2009, 06:59:53 PM

Hi All,

I have a Pro Duo that I enabled 9k Jumbo Frames on my Gigabit network. As soon as I enabled it the device dissapeared from my network. I can not longer even ping the device. I can start and shut down the unit with the power button so it does not look like it's died on me. Anyone got any advice on how to fix?

Does everything on your network support Jumbo Framing that high?

What Firmware version are you running?

Does this unit have 1 USB port or 2?

Your network obviously doesnt support Jumbo frames of 9k. You might need to reset the device and configure it again while directly connected to a PC. If not then boot it into EM mode and reinstall the firmware and that should solve the issue.
