Title: Linkstation Mini and complete Power Off
Post by: Andiadm on March 19, 2009, 01:56:27 AM

Following situation:

When I have the Power Switch on "On", the LSM eats around 10 Watts which is great

When I have the Power Switch on "Auto", the LSM eats around 10 Watts, too. Stopping the Service with command line "net stop NAS PM Service" stops the WOL packets, the LSM goes to sleep and eats aroung 4 Watts. Fine, too.

When I turn the Power Switch to "Off", the LSM either does nothing (in case it was Auto-Offed before) or the exact same thing like when stopping the WOL packets.

I mean, even if I turn the Power Switch to "Off", the LSM still eats her 4 Watts.

Shouldnt it be the case that if I turn a device off, that it really goes off without me unplugging the power chord?

Thanks.
