Enable the trash bin, delete it, then disable.  Make sure firmware is 1.15.

Goto the web-console of the Linkstation.

Goto the Share Folder Setup and disable Recycle Bin.

That should permanently disable the recycle bin.

Hi,

I looked at my LS-1000 and it was at a previous version (1.13). I updated the firware to 1.15 and I don't see a selection to dasable the recycle bin under shared folders. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Take Care,

Jim
