Title: I have deleted my shared folder on my Terastation
Post by: charlesgardiner on March 16, 2009, 07:14:25 AM

Help!! My terastation browser for some reason changed to Japanese (at least I think it was Japanese!) In trying to turn it back to English, I managed to select the shared folder and delete it. Not being able to read Japanese I did not realise what I was doing - stupid I know - but how can I get the data back? The only thing I have done since is create a new shared folder but not moved any data onto the Terastation. I realise the data is still physically on the drives but how can I get it back? - I am running RAID 5 with 4 x 250GB hard drives. I hope someone can help!

Generally speaking, there are ways to change the language through menu options. But how that's done depends on what model TS you have. Can you provide the model# please.
