Title: LinkStation Pro Duo firmware availability?
Post by: AlanZ on October 14, 2008, 06:40:19 PM

I installed a LinkStation Pro Duo today, it has firmware 3.05 as the out of the box configuration.

I've been trying to download v 3.07 http://downloads.buffalotech.com/ls-wtgl-r1-v3_307_000.zip  but the file never transfers.

Any ideas how to get the file?

Thanks

I just noticed that I can't download the firmware for my TeraStation live either.

Make sure you are searching via model number, if you have the wrong firmware it will brick the unit. Also make sure you have disabled all of your antivirus and firewall software before trying to run the exe file.

If this still fails please follow the steps on the link below.

The problem wasn't with installing the software, it was with downloading from the BuffaloTech site yesterday.  The files were not coming down at all.  According to support, the site was under maintenance yesterday.

At least today, they're coming down slowly ~100KB/sec
